1980 Olympics "Miracle on Ice" Full Ticket from the Russia Game
Do you believe in miracles? From the United States Olympic hockey team's stunning upset of Russia in 1980 comes this full, unused ticket to that classic semifinal held on Friday, February 22, in Lake Placid, NY. Named Sports Illustrated's Top Sports Moment of the 20th Century, Herb Brooks and his skaters scored twice in the third period and hung on for a 4-3 victory that shocked the world as Team USSR had captured six of the previous seven Olympic Gold Medals. This time, though, they settled for the silver while the U.S. defeated Finland for the Gold. The ticket is in EX-MT condition with slight wear at the corners.
