19th Century Kalmazoo Bats & Yum-Yum Cigar Boxes (2)

A unique and very large counter display, this Kalamazoo Bats store display cigar box dates from approximately the same time as the famous Kalamazoo Bats baseball cards circa the late 1880s. It's a wooden box with black and blue patterned paper covering, with inner label which reads, "Smoke the Kalamazoo Bats" "4 for 10?" "Chas. Gross & Co., Phila," "Patent No. 11,203." Measures 14x8x5" and displays minor wear on the outside, and a couple or areas where paper is missing, but the inside is clean and fresh with label on bottom. 2) Rohde & Co "Yum Yum" Perfect Cigars, box shows wear and water damage to top, two side labels are mostly intact as is the inner label.
