Ali-Frazier I Signed Everlast Promotional Gold Glove

On March 8, 1971 at Madison Square Garden in New York undefeated heavyweight champions Joe Frazier and Muhammad Ali fought to determine the real champion. In arguably his greatest fight, Joe Frazier prevailed knocking Ali down in the final round en route to winning a unanimous 15 round decision. Offered here is one of the better collectibles which was given to the people in the expensive seats who attended the fight, a souvenir boxing glove from the event. A gold leather, Everlast, left hand glove which includes the names of the fighters, date and venue printed in black lettering across the backhand. Boldly signed by Muhammad Ali in black marker. Autograph rates a solid 7/10. The glove itself is in overall excellent condition. Scarce.
