Babe Ruth at the Plate Photograph (PSA Type II)
Photograph of Babe Ruth as a member of the New York Yankees. The crystal-clear image pictures Ruth at the plate in his follow through swing as he stares upward at what appears to be a "Ruthian" pop up. As noted by the handwritten editorial notations on the reverse, this photo was made directly from the original glass plate negative (circa 1970s), with "No Enlargement." A Brown Brothers credit stamp appears on the reverse. The photo (3.5x4.5") displays a few light creases and is in Very Good to Excellent condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type II Authentic.
