Presented is a fantastic group of cancelled bank checks straight from the files of the Bell family. Each check has been signed by Bell in bold (9-10 out of 10 on average) fountain pen ink. There are 53 checks in the group signed "Bert Bell" (some also have the word "special" penned next to the signature in Bell's hand), and 15 signed with the popular Commissioner's birth name "de Benneville Bell". The checks are in Near Mint (NM) condition on average, with the usual bank cancellation marks.
