Carl W. Mays Letter with Baseball Content
<p>Partial letter signed by famous early pitcher Carl W. Mays. Mays is primarily remembered for throwing the pitch that killed Ray Chapman of the Cleveland Indian on August 16, 1920. Later in life he had a school, where he would teach and mentor young ball players. In this partial letter, he mentions the future financial benefits his training will provide. </p><p> </p>
