Chilling James "Whitey" Bulger Signed Handwritten Letter with Alcatraz Content (PSA/DNA)
From a controversial figure in the world of organized crime, this incredible handwritten letter was penned by James "Whitey" Bulger, in which he mentions Alcatraz and the friends he made there. On the back of a 3x5 photo of Bulger's mugshot, he wrote, "Angry just out of the hole and lost weight! But from where I sit - I look back on Alcatraz with nostalgia. Great bunch of good men there, many friends of mine from Atlanta Penitentiary Jeep (Ohio) - Walter (Ohio) Splite - Charlie Catalano (NY City) - Louie Arquilla (Boston) - Jack Twining of Fla. - Don Ianilli (Chicago) - O'Brien AKA Barney Grogan. Those were the good old day. To my good friend Rob, best of good luck and good health in the future - James Whitey Bulger 1428-AZ" (1428-AZ was Bulger's inmate number). On the side of the letter reads, "On internet check New Hall incident CA 4 Highway Patrol Killed by Jack Twining." Bulger is currently serving two life terms in prison, with racketeering and the murder of nearly a dozen people among his convictions. Comes with full PSA/DNA LOA.
