Circa 1910s Ebbets Field Photograph (PSA Type I)

Circa 1910s Ebbets Field Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph of a game in progress at Ebbets Field. The photo, taken from the perspective of the top-tier grandstand down the right-field line, captures the entire infield and some of the outlying area. This is an early Ebbets Field photo, capturing the stadium prior to the expansion in the 1920s. A handwritten date of 1924 appears on the reverse, but according to PSA, the photo dates to the 1910s. Ebbets Field opened in 1913 and was home to the Dodgers through the 1957 season. Three Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with several handwritten pencil notations. The photo (8x6.25") displays several light creases. In Very Good condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
