Circa 1913 Zack Wheat Photograph (PSA Type I)
Original Type I photograph of Zack Wheat posing on the sideline as a member of the Brooklyn Superbas. Wheat's last name was etched along the base of the negative and appears as white lettering on the developed print. Although no year is listed, the road uniform style shown here was used by Brooklyn only in 1913. The photo (3x5.25") displays a moderate horizontal crease above Wheat's head, a tiny edge tear, and a few lighter creases. In Good to Very Good condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
