Circa 1923 New York City Maps with Polo Grounds & Yankee Stadium
This marvelous map of the of some Bronx neighborhoods features lovely, hand-painted pastel overtones. Clearly, the map does not reflect the recent restructuring and relocation of Yankee Stadium, but the old location, as well as the Polo Grounds across the river, offers a unique glimpse into the borough's past (as evidenced by the demarcation of the "Deaf and Dumb Asylum"). Measuring 24x34" and highly detailed, this piece is framed and would look super displayed on a wall or as part of a historic showcase. Comes professionally folded and in beautiful condition.
