Circa 1930s Jimmie Foxx Photograph (PSA Type I)

Circa 1930s Jimmie Foxx Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph capturing Jimmie Foxx as a member of the Philadelphia Athletics. The "Beast" is pictured in a swinging pose on the sideline prior to a game. Foxx was a member of the Athletics from 1925 to 1935, but the uniform style shown here was used by the club only from 1932 to 1935, thereby dating it to that narrow four-year span. Three Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with a few editorial notations. The photo (7x9") displays a few light creases and some minor orange editorial notations on the front. In Very Good condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archives. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
