Circa 1955 Harry S. Truman Attends a Game Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph capturing former President Harry S. Truman attending a game between the Kansas City Athletics and Detroit Tigers. Research indicates that this photo was taken on opening day, April 12, 1955, at Kansas City. Here Kansas City manager Lou Boudreau and Tigers manager Bucky Harris have a brief conversation with Truman as he prepares to toss out the ceremonial first pitch (the baseball can be seen in Truman's hand). A Brown Brothers credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with handwritten editorial notations. The photo (10x8") displays a few light creases. Very Good to Excellent condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archives. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
