Circa 1960 Graham Chapman Handwritten Poster (8x10”)
A one-of-a-kind handwritten poster announcing the St. Bartholomew’s Hospital Students Union Wire Committee. Members of note are the zany comedy duo, founders of Monty Python’s Flying Circus, Graham Chapman and John Cleese. Chapman had pursued an education in medicine and studied at St. Bartholomew’s after Cambridge. Although he became a qualified doctor, Chapman realized that his life’s work would be in comedy. Poster is EX, paper is toned a light brown color.
