Peter Sellers Script Given to Graham Chapman

Presented is an English translation of a script entitled, “The Future Began Yesterday” from “Storie Naturali” by Damiano Malabaila. It was presented to John Cleese and Graham Chapman from actor, Peter Sellers, who is most remembered for his role in the Pink Panther films as Inspector Clouseau. Included is the handwritten card which reads, “My dear John & Graham, please read these beautiful things what is here for your commentaries & love.” The 3x5” card is also imprinted, “With the Compliments of Peter Sellers.” The script is dated February 18, 1967 and contains a keen observation on the dangers of industrialization in modern society. EX. Damiano Malabaila was actually a pseudonym for Primo Levi, known primarily for his accounts on the Holocaust. He wrote “Storie Naturali” under the name Malabaila on the advice of one of his editors.
