Classic 1905 "Home Run" Baseball Cigar Box - Only One Known
An early wooden cigar box, this comes with "Home Run" and flags with a ball printed on the wooden top. The box has a stunning ornate full color inner label of a baseball game in play with a batter in red sliding home, adorned with gold leaf scrolling and "Home Run" below, and also a matching side label with similar color and imagery. The label is dated 1905, with tax stamps. The top has come unhinged, it is now separate and there is wear and paper loss. We have seen this label but NEVER the box, which measures 8.5x5.5 x4.5".
