Early 1900s Boston Red Sox Doll
Beautiful early doll stands an impressive 14" tall and sports "RED SOX" stitched across the chest in original red felt. The uniform itself is all original and was produced to be given to local cities. First we have seen and incredibly detailed. The red felt collar matches the hat brim and lettering perfectly, with the red coloring having being faded to a more orange. Beautifully hand-painted porcelain head is attached firmly and only exhibits a few cracks in the paint. EX condition and from an important early New England collector.
