Early 1900s Fan-Taz Advertising Tip Tray

Early 1900s Fan-Taz Advertising Tip Tray

Only one we have ever seen. Porcelain tip tray was an early advertising piece for this short-lived baseball-oriented brand of soda. Waiters brought these back to the table to put their change from the bill and hoping for a tip. Hence the term "Tip Tray". The only one we know of in decades. The gorgeous matching Fan-Taz syrup dispenser sells for five figures yet is far more common. Measuring 3.25" it was well used and appears to have smoke coloration and crazing likely from being used in a bar/restaurant over the last century for many. No chips though. This IS a hit!
