Edd Roush 1919 Cincinnati Reds Cigar Box

Edd Roush 1919 Cincinnati Reds Cigar Box

Most likely in recognition of the Reds' controversial 1919 World Series championship vs. the "Black Sox," this wooden cigar box features Hall of Fame center fielder Edd Roush's photo and name embellishing the inside top lid in black, white and gold. The lid has been professionally re-hinged and there is some paper loss but the 9x5.5" box with "FABRIGADE TABACOS DE SUPERIORES" label on the outer lid is a thing of beauty, complete with red, white and green labels adorning the edges. From the finest collection of baseball and sports cigar boxes ever to be offered for public auction.
