Vintage photograph capturing infamous knuckleball pitcher Eddie Cicotte as a member of the Chicago White Sox, circa 1914. Cicotte is pictured warming up on the sideline prior to a game. One of the best pitchers of his era, Cicotte, along with seven other members of the White Sox, was later banned from baseball in 1921 for conspiring to "throw" the 1919 World Series. Three Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with Cicotte's name written in pencil. The photo (6x7.25") displays a few light creases. In Very Good condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type IV Authentic.
