Eddie Plank Photograph (PSA Type I)

Eddie Plank Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph capturing Hall of Fame pitcher Eddie Plank as a member of the Philadelphia Athletics. Plank is pictured in a windup pose on the sideline prior to what appears to be a spring training game. Plank's last name was etched into the base of the negative and it appears here on the developed print as white lettering. Three Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with Plank's name written in pencil. Although no year is listed, the uniform style shown here was worn by the Athletics between the years 1909 and 1914. The photo (3x5.25") has been slightly trimmed to its current dimensions and is otherwise in Excellent to Mint condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
