Extremely Rare 1890 Players' League Ticket - Lone Season

Extremely Rare 1890 Players' League Ticket - Lone Season

The Players' League was a short lived baseball league that only lasted one year but was full of stars and led by league president John Montgomery Ward. Since this league only lasted one year, tickets and other memorabilia are difficult to come by. This is the only Players' League ticket we have ever seen let alone this elaborate press ticket. This unique Press Ticket was issued to Mr. Russell and has been signed by the club secretary Jas. W. Allen, and countersigned by J Earl Wagner. Graded PSA Good 2 but appears to be closer to a 5. Glue residue on the backside could be removed if so inclined.
