Happy Felsch 1917 World Champion Chicago White Sox Baseball Cigar Box - Only One Known

A magnificent wooden cigar box, this is most likely from the 1917 season when the Chicago White Sox won the World Series, and Happy Felsch was a celebrated hero. This lasted until he was involved in the "Black Sox Scandal of 1919" and the movie "Eight Men Out" is based on his book. Side label and outside of the box shows wear, inside is a gold gilded with a photogravure image that is quite clean. Measures 9x5.5x2.75".
