Home Dugout Bat Rack
Bat rack from the Busch Stadium home dugout, which was located in a partitioned section on the far right side of the dugout behind the area where Tony Larussa and the coaching “brain trust” congregated, stands 48” wide, 29” tall and 28.75” deep. Constructed of corrugated red wood with silver metal frames and dividers for eight separate 4 x 4” sections in which the bats were cased. Yes, Mark McGwire’s bats chilled out in this very rack between at-bats in 1998. No need to add how that affects the value of the rack. Another tough old Busch Stadium survivor, with numerous marks, dents and other badges of honor for its big league existence. <br>(Estimate $1,000 - $1,500)
