Honus Wagner and Young Girl Photograph (PSA Type I)

Honus Wagner and Young Girl Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photograph of Honus Wagner holding a little girl. Ironically, the little girl is dressed in a baseball uniform, while the fabled "Flying Dutchman" is dressed in street clothes. This photo was taken during the 1930s, during Wagner's coaching career with the Pirates, and the little girl is most likely the daughter of a Pirates player. An "International News Photographs Inc." credit stamp appears on the reverse, along with a remnant of the original paper news caption. The photo (6.5x8.5") displays a few light creases. In Very Good condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
