Incredibly Rare 1969 Atlanta Pop Festival Uncut Poster Sheet with Two Janis Joplins
Just over a month before the transcendent Woodstock Festival, many of the same performers joined tens of thousands of fans in Hampton, Georgia, for the Atlanta International Pop Festival, from July 4-6, 1969. Originally sourced from Atlanta, this uncut slate of four posters for that event remains on one substantial rolled sheet, measuring 50x76". Featured acts are Canned Heat, Johnny Winter and, most significantly, two (2) Janis Joplins. Her passion made hers a key voice of the generation, and it is incredibly rare to find an original Janis poster, let alone two on an uncut sheet. The art is quintessential '60s psychedelia, and there are a few tears on the edges that do not at all diminish the impact or value of this find.
