But few awards have resonated in New York Rangers history quite like the "Player's Player" award, chosen by teammates. Five of these six awards are similar 7x9" plaques presented to the popular New York icon: 1-5) 1967-68, 1968-69, 1969-70, 1970-71, and 1974-75. Also included is: 6) A smaller 5x7" plaque for 1967-68 Comeback Player of the Year. Respected by teammates and opponents alike, this string of peer-awarded accolades show just how important Ratelle was to his peers during one of the most formidable stretches in New York Rangers history.
