"Joe Jackson" by Mrs. Joe Jackson Signed Baseball

"Joe Jackson" by Mrs. Joe Jackson Signed Baseball

Fascinating 1954 Mrs. Joe Jackson Signed Baseball. Mrs. Jackson, AKA Katie, signed this ball three years after Joe's death. Her inscription reads "Joe Jackson 1954-By Mrs. Joe Jackson-For Joe who passed away Dec 5, 1951". Written on a MacGregor Ridgewood Sports Shop R50 ball, her signature rates an 8 out of 10. While Joe could and did sign, mostly legal documents, he was an unwilling signer in public due to his functioning illiteracy. Thus, Mrs. Jackson was the signer of his fan mail requests. An interesting piece associated with the legendary status of Joe Jackson.

2019 marks the 100th Anniversary of the most infamous scandal in sports history. On this Anniversary, Lelands is privileged to offer a comprehensive collection of memorabilia related to the 1919 World Series teams including a Joe Jackson PSA certified signed document, 1919 World Series tickets, 1919 White Sox season pass, Type I photos, handwritten letters, autographs and much more.
