John McGraw Original Glass Plate Negative
Original glass plate negative capturing New York Giants manager John McGraw at the Polo Grounds. McGraw is pictured holding a bat on the sideline prior to a game. The name "John McGraw" is written along the base of the negative. Although no year is listed, the uniform style shown here was worn by the Giants only in 1913 and 1914. The negative (7x5") displays some tiny emulsion loss along the top and near the interior left border, as well as a few light scratches. In Very Good condition overall.
