Original Type I photo of Johnny Evers as a member of the Chicago Cubs. The image pictures Evers posing in a fielding position prior as he gazes directly into the camera. Four Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse, along with Evers’ name written in pencil. Although no year is listed, the uniform style shown here was only used by the Cubs in 1910 and 1911. The photo (4.5x6.75”) displays a small chip in both the upper right and lower left corners, as well as a few light surface wrinkles. In Very Good condition overall. Culled from the Legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
