Louisville Slugger Trophy
Awarded by the Hillerich & Bradsby Co. to Ben George Held for hitting the most home runs for Minneapolis during the 1927 season, this Louisville Slugger trophy is the first we have ever seen. The piece has a pyramid-shaped wooden base upon which stands a bronze hitter. On both the front and back of the base are metal plaques inscribed with the recipient's name and the details of his accomplishment. Base measures 12 x 6" at the bottom; trophy stands 16" high. This great-looking piece will make a fine addition to your collection.
