New York City "Broadway & 42nd" Street Sign

New York City "Broadway & 42nd" Street Sign

A touch of depression-era New York City history, these porcelain signs from the 1920s-30s are all adjoined by a metal holder that went on top of a pole marking the landmark intersection. Two have "BROADWAY" and two have "42 ST,"each sign measures about 20x5.5" with frame, and the porcelain signs are original to New York City while the metal holder is from the borough of Brooklyn, NY. This unit shows typical wear from the elements but is still very nice, and an exceptional vintage display that signifies one of the most well known street corners in the world.
