Original Type I photograph capturing Ted Williams at the plate against the New York Yankees. The "Splendid Splinter" is beautifully pictured in his follow through swing as his eyes look upward tracking the flight of the ball. Four Brown Brothers credit stamps and a Brown Brothers label appear on the reverse, along with vintage pencil notations that identify both Yankees catcher Yogi Berra and home plate umpire Jim Honochick. The photo (9x7") displays a few light creases and is in Very Good condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archives. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
