The Bill Bruton Collection of 3

The Bill Bruton Collection of 3

Bill Bruton was the catalyst of the Milwaukee Braves during their heyday, getting on base, stealing bags and scoring often on hits by Hank Aaron and others. This lot showcases a cracked, personalized, game-used bat from the 1950s with chipped knob. Also, a sterling silver, 1950 Northern League All-Star ring that was the first given to an African-American player. His initials are on the inside. The third item is a 1955 American Association All-Star Game Ring worn by Broadway Charlie Wagner of the Louisville Colonels. Also appearing to be sterling silver, this is from the Little World Series and has a red, white and blue enamel shield on top.
