The First Eddie Gaedel - 1905 First Little Person in Pro Baseball Signed Cabinet Photograph

This is a cabinet photo of Jerry Sullivan, who before Eddie Gaedel's historic turn, became the first "Little Person" to ever play in a professional baseball game. Signed, "Your's with Best Wishes, Jerry Sullivan." In 1905, Sullivan, was inserted into the Buffalo Bisons lineup by manager George Stallings. It evolved into a huge grand entrance of the diminutive actor before an audience of 1,853 astounded spectators. Sullivan actually went to bat and ultimately scored a run. Great image by Kern Brothers, in EX condition.
