Tommy Davis Los Angeles Dodgers Player of the Year Award 1962
The Baseball Writers of America presented Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Tommy Davis with this trophy in recognition of his selection as Los Angeles Dodgers Player of the Year for 1962. The trophy sits on a marble base measuring 6" in diameter, and stands 10 1/2" high. The front of the trophy has a raised baseball diamond upon which appear the letters "BBWAA" ; below that, the inscription reads: "Tommy Davis Los Angeles Dodgers Player of Year 1962." There is a very small chip at the bottom of the base; overall, the trophy is in fine condition.
