Turn of the Century Reach Workman's Style Baseball Glove

Addendum: It has been brought to our attention that this glove appears to have been a "full web" glove at one time. There is evidence of web still remaining along the seam of the index finger. Prior to the innovation of "webs," many players were accustom to the earlier web-less style gloves. It was not an uncommon practice to remove the web so it would have the same "feel" as a web-less glove. Our experts opinion is that this is a circa 1905 Full Web baseball glove that has had the web removed back in the day and should not be called a workman's glove; but is still a nice early example.

Fresh to the market baseball glove has absolutely no webbing between the fingers. Obtained from a collector (not of gloves ironically) who eventually showed this to us and our eyes went agape. Early Reach label is in excellent condition. Some wear to the leather but has not been finished or repaired. It stands in original unfettered condition.

Addendum:It has been brought to our attention that this glove appears to have been a "full web" glove at one time.
