Two Babe Ruth Famous World Series Road Games Programs & Ticket

Two Babe Ruth Famous World Series Road Games Programs & Ticket

Even though his Yankees lost the 1926 World Series to the Cardinals in seven, Babe Ruth was the series' most dominant figure, bashing a record three home runs during a Game 4 blowout win after promising a sickly kid named Johnny Sylvester that he would go deep for him. From that historic game comes this program from Sportsman Park, as well as a 1928 program from Game 4 of a Yankees sweep of the Redbirds. Both programs are scored and feature vintage color print, photos and ads. Both are in EX condition, though the 1928 one has chips. Sylvester's condition reportedly improved immediately after Ruth fulfilled his promise.
