White grouping with touches of gold leafing shows Napoleon and Josephine planning the Coronation procession. Preparation For Coronation imprinted in French at base. Marked with blue 'S with X cross through it GDR (German Democratic Republic post WWII). Measures 11WX9HX6D", no breaks or chips. 2). Striking standing pose of Napolean in full Coronation robes holding staff. Fantastic gold leaf accents and vivid hand painted coloration. Similar mark on this piece marked Germany c. 1940s. Tremendous detail. Stands 16HX9W". NR/MT, no chips.
