Two Rare Tennis Fans

Two Rare Tennis Fans

The first of these two is magnificent. Dating from the late 19th century this beautifully lithographed fan shows a marvelous early game of shuttlecock. Wood and paper it is in marvelous excellent condition and is beautifully framed to over 30” in length. One of the finer pieces in the collection and one of the rarest. The second is a comical persona and the piece appears to be English, dating from the 1930s or earlier. Overall EX+ and brilliantly framed to about 25” in length.
