Yankee Stadium Crowd Watching "Babe" Photograph (PSA Type I)

Yankee Stadium Crowd Watching "Babe" Photograph (PSA Type I)

Original Type I photo capturing the packed-to-capacity right field bleachers at Yankee Stadium during a game. The handwritten caption on the reverse reads "Bleacher crowd at Yankee Stadium watching Babe (note line up of Yanks) Ruth 3." As noted on the scoreboard, the Yankees were playing the Chicago White Sox and Babe Ruth is listed as batting third and playing right field. Four Brown Brothers credit stamps appear on the reverse. The photo (10x7.25") displays a few tiny edge tears, corner chips, tape remnants on the reverse, light creasing, and specks of editorial paint along the top border. In Good condition overall. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive. PSA encapsulated as Type I Authentic.
