Yankee Stadium "Football Game" Original Film Negative
Original film negative capturing a football game at Yankee Stadium. The image, taken from the perspective of the center field bleachers, captures the entire field and grandstands in the background. A game is in progress, but the distance from the field makes an identification of the teams impossible. Yankee Stadium was home to the New York Giants from 1956 to 1972, and also hosted numerous college games during its long history. The negative (9.75x7.75") displays a tiny chip in each corner, otherwise it is in Excellent condition. Culled from the legendary Brown Brothers Photo Archive.
