1902 Ohio Wesleyan Team Photograph with the Rickey Brothers
A fantastic photograph of the 1902 Ohio Wesleyan University baseball team. The true highlight of this image rests on the floor, as a young Branch Rickey lounges alongside his brother. They are identified as "W.B. Rickey" and "E. Rickey". The 11x16" photograph is pasted to a 12x19.5" thick backing board and comes with two typewritten pieces of paper, one of which has a game-by-game breakdown of the team's season record, and the other of which lists the players' names. Numbers are written in black fountain pen on the shoulder of each player, helping the viewer determine their name. Image contains some scuffing, but is otherwise VG.
