1931 Japanese Baseball "Big Six" Three Volume Book Set
Rarely seen, this complete set of three large volumes was influenced by the coming of the first major U.S. Baseball Tour in 1931. It stands as a historical compendium of Tokyo Big Six University League baseball from 1903 to 1931, and is a treasure trove which contains every possible piece of information you could ever possibly want to know about the teams, the games and the league. There are rosters, box scores, standings, game articles, etc, along with thousands of images - in total, there are nearly 1,650 pages. The covers each contain the same image - a hand gripping an official Big Six University ball, surrounded by the flags of each of the league's six teams. In EX-MT condition.
