Brought back by returning American Serviceman after WWII. Magnificent cloth flag measures 65x36". Startling graphics of the flags of the participating countries of the Berlin Games of 1936. The Swastika and the Stars & Bars dovetail with the Olympic Rings. They are separated by the weighty words, "XI. Olympiade 1936 Berlin". A perfect representation of Jesse Owens' destruction of the Aryan principle. Excellent condition. Was hung at one of the Olympic sites during these unforgettable Games.
