The heart and soul of the Cardinals’ 1940s championship teams – Stan “The Man” Musial and Red Schoendienst – stand bat to bat in the dugout in this wonderful photo that hung in the Cardinals Club dining area. Plaque at the bottom center reads: “Stan Musial and Red Schoendienst at Ebbets Field, 1949”. The vintage sepia toned photo was likely reproduced in the 1990s as a tribute to these two splendid Hall of Famers. The photo is matted and framed in dark gold to an overall size of 33” wide and 38” long, and is in EX-MT condition. <br>(Estimate $300 - $500)
