Stan Musial Photo from Center Field Batter’s Eye Club

Stan Musial Photo from Center Field Batter’s Eye Club

Offered separately among the group of photos from the Busch Stadium centerfield batter’s eye area is this textbook-worthy, six-shot sequential collage of the greatest Cardinal batter of ‘em all -- Stan “The Man” Musial, who is shown taking a majestic and perfectly fluent swing, from start to back swing. How perfect was The Man? Just read the plaque on the bottom center of the framed photo: “Stan Musial Won 7 National League Batting Titles Off 3,630 Hits. He had 1815 Home, 1815 Away.” It’s a pity Stan never got to play at this Busch Stadium and mark it for the ages with dents left by his screaming line drives. The b&w photo sequence is matted against an olive green matted background and surrounded by a thick maple wood frame sized to 29” wide and 33” high. EX condition.
(Estimate $300 - $500)
