<p>Collection of fifty-six vintage baseball photos, picturing players from the approximate 1900 to 1920 time period, including sixteen taken by renowned baseball photographer Charles Conlon and one taken by Paul Thompson. All the photos in this collection originate from the Brown Brothers Photo Archive and thirty-six bear one or more Brown Brothers credit stamps on the reverse. Nearly all picture an individual player. For many of the players in this collection, the identifications are based solely upon the name written on the reverse. Several of the photos bear no name on the reverse and the players remain unidentified. The sixteen Conlon photos offered in this grouping, all of which feature either his credit stamp, handwritten name, or distinctive handwriting on the reverse, are of the following players: Ray Keating (Yankees), Heinie Groh (Reds), Bill Carrigan (Red Sox), Frank Snyder (Cardinals), Claude Cooper (Brooklyn Feds), Dave Davenport (St. Louis Feds), Fritz Maisel (Yankees), Tom Hughes (Braves), Eddie Ainsmith (Senators), Tillie Walker (Red Sox), Fred Anderson (Giants), Mensor (Pirates), and Ed Barney (Yankees).</p><p> The remaining players featured in the collection include Hughie Jennings, Jake Stahl, Dummy Taylor, Ernie Shore, Spec Harkness (Paul Thompson credit stamp on reverse), Sherrod Smith, Fred Merkle, Frank Schulte (two different examples), Wally Schang, Chief Meyers, Art Neff, Russell Ford, Duster Mails, Ollie O'Mara, Jack Graney, Fred Brainard, Larry Doyle, George Burns, Art Fletcher, Ira Thomas (two identical examples), Terry Turner, Vic Saier, Wally Pipp, Buck Herzog, Josh Devore (two different examples), Pat Moran, Hooks Wiltse (two different examples), Kid Elberfeld, Fred Tenny, Jimmy Archer, Jack Coombs, and Joe Bush.&nbsp;</p><p>Sixteen percent of the photos measure approximately 3x5", sixty-five percent measure approximately 7x5",&nbsp; ten percent measure 7x9", and nine percent measure approximately 8x10". Very Good condition overall. While these are all vintage photos, none have been evaluated by PSA, therefore no guarantees are made regarding any specific Type designations.
