1894 Temple Cup Print That Hung in the Polo Grounds

This very print once hung at Gotham’s famous Polo Grounds. The steel engraving by renowned artist Hy Sandham was produced in 1894 and features a magnificent rendering of the Baltimore Orioles and New York Giants in action at the Polo Grounds during the 1894 Temple Cup. Unfortunately, the 44 individual portraits of players and executives of the time - including Hugh Duffy, Cy Young, Wilbert Robinson, Charles Comiskey, Ed Delahanty, Cap Anson, Roger Connor, Amos Rusie, John Ward, A.G. Mills, Harry Wright, Chris Von Der Ahe, A.G. Spalding, Frank Selee, and John Brush - have been trimmed off and pasted on the back of the original frame. The print itself now measures __” and frames to slightly larger. Condition of the print o/w is EX. Condition of the two strips of ovals on verso are Good.
