Ted Williams 1946 World Series Program Cover Painting

Ted Williams 1946 World Series Program Cover Painting

Absolutely magnificent oil on canvas of Ted Williams lookalike batting for the American League Champion Boston Red Sox. This is the finished work for the 1946 World Series program at Boston’s Fenway Park. The look is magnificent, the quality is brilliant and the work is stunning. It is EX-MT condition and it is unsigned. We are not sure, but it could be the work of Lon Keller. It measures 25x18” and the canvas is stretched on the original wood frame. This is one of the finest pieces of original baseball illustatrion art you will ever see.
