1907 Gans vs. Britt Type I Glass Plate Negative by Dana Studio
This is a glass plate negative of Joe Gans vs. Jimmy Britt for the World Lightweight Title. Written in fountain pen is "Britt v. Gans B.B. Parker 1908 W.B. Box 10." Minor emulsifier oxidation around the rim, but overall EX condition. From Dana Studios, the "Charles Conlon" of boxing photography, these 5x7" to 7x9" treasures represent the greatest find of its kind.
